Hear the Roar Burger

Prep Time: 15 minutes // Cook Time: 15 mins // Assembly: 10 minutes // Serves 4



  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (regular or Dijon)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small onion, finely grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 lb medium ground beef

Toppings (optional)

  • Lettuce (leaf or shredded)
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Pickles
  • Cheese slices
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard


  1. Prep grill and heat your BBQ to medium heat.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk egg and add in mustard, Worcestershire sauce, grated onion, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add beef. Using your hands or a fork, gently mix together. Handle the meat as little as possible – the more you work it, the tougher it gets.
  4. Gently shape mixture into burgers about 3/4 inch thick.
  5. Using your thumb, make a shallow depression in the center of each burger to prevent puffing during cooking.
  6. Place burgers on the grill, close lid, and cook until no longer pink on the inside. Turn once, approximately 6-8 minutes per side.
  7. If you have a meat thermometer, it should read 160° F.
  8. Using your favorite burger bun, place burger and toppings on open buns and enjoy!
